BREACHES OF AWARD ALLEGED The ..Labour Department claimed £lO from James McKenzie, the licensee of Tattersall's Hotel, for employing Colin Moffatt as a barman and William Wallace as a hotel worker and failing to pay them the correct rate of wages as required by the Licensed Hotel Workers' Award. The Labour Department was awarded £1 on each of the two claims. Separate claims of £lO were made by the department against Moffatt and Wallace for accepting a lower wage than that prescribed by the award. The department was awarded 15s on each claim.
