PRICE OF BUTTER

*0 THE EDITOR 0» THE KB*S«. Sir—As a housewife, lam interested to know why the price of butter has not been raised. I am not anxious to pay more for butter: neither do I intend to complain about the high cost of living, but my grocer tells me he does not expect the price to go up until after the election—and then it will be Is 6d per lb, at least. Is the Labour Party fearful of losing the women's votes? Or perhaps it is to be left to the National Party to raise the price of butter (and immediately be accused of raising the cost of living).—Yours, etc., 8 HOUSEWIFE. September 24, 1938.
