MR KYLE’S SPEECH
TO THE EDITOB OT THB PBES3. Sly,—Mr Sullivan „ said -in, Ctaislchurch that Mr Kyle must know perfectly well that no law exists, or could exist, which would interfere with the tight of people to transfer property. Mr Sullivan’s memory is conveni-/ ently short. It is only a. few years ago that ; every member of his party was pledged to a plank in its platform, “that privately owiled land should not be'sold or transferred, except to or from the State.”
This was a policy which would interfere with the right of private ownership, and it may be re-adopted, for all one can tell. —Yours, etc., AJAX.
