FARM NOVICE HANDICAP, of £2OO - ° ne mile, L MULET 8-8 .. .. .. Munro 1 will Rogers 8-4 .. ~ O’Sullivan 2 Salomon 7-5 .. .. Knox 3 There were 15 starters, including Kow Tow, Glenora Park, and Carbon. Won by a length; two lengths between second and third.

WARWICK STAKES, Of £600; second horse £BO, and third horse £4O from stake. Weight-for-age. Seven furlongs. STRETTO E. Bartle 1 Gold Rod .. .. M. McCarten 2 Royal Chief .. J. O’Sullivan 3 Stretto was the pacemaker when the field settled down from Buzalong and King’s Head, with Gold Rdd and Royal Chief handy. Gold Rod challenged Stretto as they neared the post, but Stretto held him off to win by a neck, with Royal Chief a length away. Time, Imin 263 sec. Rotorua was unplaced in the Hobartville Stakes. Braidwood Boy was unplaced in the Spring Handicap.

AJAX 9-0 .. Badger 1 Ena 8-9 .. .'. ’ .. Morris 2 Lord Windburra 7-8 .. .. Elliot 3 There were nine starters. Including Elanage. Great interest attached to the race owing to the meeting of. Ajax and The Trump, but the former took charge at the end .of a furlong and Was never headed. The Trump finished sixth.

Won by two lengths; a length between second and third. Time, Imin 42sec.

AUGUST HANDICAP, Of £350. One mile and three furlongs. ROYAL ORDER 7-5 .. .. Bailey 1 Ortelles Star 7-12 .. .. Breasley 2 Lady Kooringal 7-6 .. Flannery 3 There were 10 starters.

Won by half a neck; half a head between second and third. Time, 2min 18isec.
