CHAMPIONSHIPS OF CANTERBURY

BIG FIELD TO CONTEST EVENTS TO-DAY

A field of 102 will contest the cross-, country championships of Canterbury over the Cashmere course, stating from the Old Stone. House this afternoon. Given fine weather there is a prospect of an excellent . contest for the principal places. The teams and the claimants to the individual title have seldom been more evenly matched.
