EIGHT PERSONS SUFFOCATED NEW YORK, August 25. A message from San Luis Potosi (Mexico) states that eight persons died of suffocation and many were injured in an unusua] accident in a cinema theatre. A crowd on a balcon;- at the conclusion of the pro-gi-ifnme began to move down the stairs, when someone stumbled, catling 50 persons to fall in a heap. TLose at the bottom were smothered to death before they could be extricated.
