STEPS WILL BE TAKEN” [From Our Parliamentary Reporter.] WELLINGTON, August 11. “The Government will, as occasion requires, take the necessary steps to safeguard the Dominion from shocks associated with falls in prices overseas, and the operations of speculators in overseas markets* said the Hon- W. Nash (Minister for Marketing) in the House of Representatives to-day, in answer to a question from |ilr H. S. S. Kyle (National, Riccarton). ' Mr Kyle asked the Minister whether, before the introduction of the social security legislation, the Government would put on the statute book legislation to safeguard the Dominion against falls in prices overseas*
