♦ CANTERBURY CHAPTER ELECTS OFFICERS - Officers-elected by the Canterbury chapter of the New Zealand Institute of secretaries are as follows:—Chairman, Mr A.,E. G. Lyttle; vice-chair-man, Mr A. A. Cooper; committee, Messrs W. H. Amos. W. McClure, C. J. Gray, T. W. A. Stringer, H. Lindsay, T. W. Robson, E. C. Rawnsley, C. F. Champion, A. W. Bascand. A. E. G. Lyttle, A. A. Cooper, and W. L. Watson; membership sub-committee, Messrs W. L. Watson, H. Lindsay, W. H. Amos, and Miss R. Thomas; lectures and social arrangements committee, Messrs E. C. Rawnsley, W. McClure, and C. J. Gray; publications sub-committee, Messrs T. W. Robson, C. F. Champion, and A. W. Bascand; secretary, Miss F. L. Cooper. The Dominion president (Mr J. Annand Smith, of Wellington) gave an address at the annual meeting. Suggestions were made for the coming year's programme.
