NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER VOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Christchurch Tramway Board held on the 9th day of JULY, 1938. the following resolution was passed, and that it will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Board to be held on the 13th day of AUGUST, 1938. at 9.30 a.m„ at the Office of the Board. In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in the Christchurch Tramway Board in that behalf by Sections 40 and 44 )f the Christchurch Tramway District Act, 1920. and all other powers it enabling, and in pursuance of a resolution passed by the Board on the 18th day of June. 1938, and the Public Notice published in the “Christchurch Star-Sun” newspaper on the 20th day of June, 1938, and in the “Christchurch Press” on the 2nd day of July. 1938, the Christchurch Tramwayhereby resolves by way of Special Drier:—(a) That the Christchurch*rramvay Board hereby makes a general rate of 3-16ths pence in the £ (decimal one. eight, seven, five pence—--1875d) upon the Capital Value of all rateable property in the Christchurch Tramway District, as defined by the Christchurch Tramway District Act, 1920, as amended by the Christchurch Tramway District Amendment Act, 1932-33, as the same appears on the respective valuation rolls now in force in the City of Christchurch, the Bor3Ughs of New Brighton. Sumner, ana Riccarton. and the Counties of _Wainairi, Paparua. Heathcote. and Halsvell. for the period commencing on the st dav of April. 1938. and ending on he 31st dav of March. 1939.
