WASHHOUSE DAMAGED BY FIRE
One wall and the ceiling of a detached washhouse at 38a street were damaged by fire shortly after midday yesterday. The ou f tbre y* wfiich was caused by embers from,* fire setting alight to the matchliniaf was extinguished without difficulty hy a brigade from the central station. Very little damage was done.
