OBITUARY
MR E. P. LUSH
The death occurred yesterday of Mr Edwin Francis Lush, who for many years has been well known in business circles in Christchurch. Bom la Christchurch in 1879. Mr Lush m educated at the Normal School, and spent the younger years of his life in the land and estate agency business.
He was the eldest son of Mr and Mrs E. J. Lush, Canterbury pioneers, his mother arriving in New Zealand as a girl nine years of age shortly after the First Four Ships. His father was for 25 years associated with the late Dr. Townend up to the date of the latter’s death. For the last 18 years Mr Lush was employed as chief clerk to R. T. Tosswill and Company, public accountants.

(P*ESS ASSOCIATION TEUWKAK.) WANGANUI, July 21 The death occurred suddenly thi* morning of Mr James Henry Burnet, aged 80. Mr Burnet came to New Zealand S6 years ago, and joined the firm of Sargood, Son and Ewen. at Auckland. He was manager of the Wanganui branch of the firm for several years and retired 25 years ago. For the last U years he had been a director of the Wanganui Museum.
