♦ BENEFIT MEETING AT ADDINGTON HOSPITAL RADIO FUND e The whippet racing clubs of Christ- .- church combined to hold a beneat meeting „ at the Addington trotting ground in aid oi a the hospital radio fund. Some interestl > ing racing was seen by the large followg ing, and about £sl was raised for the c fund. , , The sucpess of the meeting was due in r, no small way to the assistance of the Canterbury Park Trotting Club, which made its ground available, and ot busie ness firms which gave trophies.
