♦_ — . RAIN DELAYS SHIPPING Work on the waterfront at Lyttel-I ton yesterday was delayed by light j rain, and the departure of several vessels in port was postponed. Personal ] Mr and Mrs D. S. Kerr and Miss Jean Kerr, Seaview terrace, will leave this evening for Wellington, where they will connect with the Awatea for Sydney. At Sydney Mr Kerr is to supervise the conversion of the steamer Storm into a motor-ship. I —; ' I
