OBITUARY

DR. W. J. FEARNLEY

BRISBANE. July 5. The death has occurred of Dr. W. J, Fearnley, aged 58. He was a native of New Zealano, and was well known in racing circles. MR DAVID JOHNSTON (PBSBt 48B0CI4T10H T BLSOBAJt.) NEW PLYMOUTH. July 5. The death occurred in the New Plymouth Hospital to-day, after a long illness. of Mr David Johnston, a prominent Rugby player, who toured Australia as an All Black in 1925. He represented Taranaki for 10 years from 1922 to 1932, and the North Island once. He was captain of the Okaiawa team and on retirement from active football took part in the administration of the game.
