ANNUAL MEETING OP KIRWEE SUB-CENTRE The Kirwee Sub-Centre of the Red Cross Society held its annual meeting recently. Mrs R. S. Roper presided. The balance-sheet was considered satisfactory. The report said that a parcel of second-hand clothing was sent to headquarters and the appeal for the Far East Relief Fund was readily responded to. The election of officers resulted:— President, Mrs R. S. Roper; vice-presi-dents, Mesdames A. Anderson and Mr? J. Selby; honorary treasurer, Mrs G. Batatone; honorary secretary, Mrs H. J. Devonshire; honorary auditor, Mr E. H, Wilde; committee, re-elected.
