MR A. N. GRIGG’S NOMINATION ENDORSED In support of the nomination of Mr A. N. Grigg, of Surrey Hihs, as a National candidate for Mid-Can-terbury, a deputation of more than 40 members of the party from all branches of the electorate south of the Rakaia river met Mr Gngg at Rakaia yesterday. Representatives from Leeston and Southbridge were also present. ' Several members of the deputatoin expressed pleasure that Mr Grigg, who was a member of a well-known pioneering family m New Zealand, had consented to nomination. Mr Grigg’s nomination paper was endorsed by the signatures of 34 members present, ADDRESS BY MR 0. C. MAZENGARB NATIONAL CANDIDATE FOR WELLINGTON SUBURBS Mr O. C. Mazengarb, the National Party’s candidate for the Wellington Suburbs electorate, will address a meeting in the Radiant Hall to-nigh . Mr Mazengarb contested the Wellington East seat in 1935, and, although he was one of five candidates he was second to the elected member and received about 5000 votes.
