MALVERN ODDFELLOWS’ BALL
The Loyal Malvern Lodge held its annual ball in the Town Hall, Sheffield, and visitors were present from Christchurch and surrounding districts. The chairman (Mr E. W. Rodgers) and the secretary (Mr G. T. Innes), with the help of an energetic committee, were largely responsible for the success of the entertainment. Music for the dancing was supplied by the New Collegians’ Orchestra, with extras by Mr W. Winiata. A novelty dance was won by Miss Ida Innes and Mr G. Dorman. Messrs L. L. Gibbs and G. T. Innes were masters of ceremonies.
