WANGANUI TEAM BEATEN WANGANUI, June 23. An Australian badminton team beat Wanganui this evening by 6 matches (13 sets and 223 points) to two matches (four sets and 162 points). A feature of the play was the defeat of Miss Robert, the leading woman in the visiting team for the North Island, by Miss T. Greaves, 11-4, 11-1. In mixed doubles, Miss Greaves and Holroyd won from Harper and Miss Hewitt, 18-17, 8-15, 15-8.
