ST. JOHN AMBULANCE ASSOCIATION
TO THE EDITOB Or THE PRESS. Sir, —I notice in a footnote to my recent letter that Dr. J. Restell Thomas, of the St. John Ambulance Association, preferred to make no comment on an anonymous letter. May I respectfully suggest to Dr. Thomas that whether the writer is anonymous or not makes Very little difference, as after all it is the contents of a let\er that count. As a supporter of the St. John Ambulance Association I wrote in a helpful spirit to show how the association’s funds could be increased to more than £IOOO a year by taking over the Saturday night dance in its own hall. Dr. Thomas has always been an ardent worker in the noble cause of the association, and always keen concerning ’ts financial position; so even if my letters are anonymous, they must provide food for thought to Dr. Thomas and every member of the association during these very anxious times, when funds are so badly wanted.—Yours, etc., _ FUNDS. ism ISM,
