THE CLOTH BODY
You must remember to follow the Instructions very, very carefully, as much depends on this. If you do so your little figures will dance and caper about in any way you wish. In making the body: 1. Use crepe or fine muslin or material of that kind. 2. Double your cloth lengthwise.
3. Fin the patterns on the cloth, and cut round each section.
4. Sew the parts together with small stitches, making seams about a quarter of an inch wide. 5. Leave places open for stuffing at the TOP of the head, arms, legs, and at the BOTTOM of the body. 6. ' The neck will not be stuffed. It is just turned right side out after seaming on the three sides. 7. Turn all sections right side out. They will look like small bags. They are now ready to be stuffed with cotton.
