NO APPOINTMENTS VET PRIME MINISTER’S REPIT TO RUMOURS So far tbe Government has net taken any action to fill the vacancies which will occur shortly onto board of directors of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. This to been indicated by the Prime Minster, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage*® reply to a question asked by "Tbe Press” about the situation. There is already one vacancy os the beard. Under the the Reserve Amendment Act, Mr D. A. Ewcntetired in 1937, after a ballot among the directors. So far no aPjjg*** ment has been made to his Poston.
