THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL

His Excellency the Governor-General (Lord Galway) arrived in Christchurch by the steamer express yesterday morning, accompanied by his aide-de-camp, Captain R. Stuart French. Lord Galway will leave early this afternoon for Timaru, where, as Grand Master of the Masonic Order in the Dominion, he will visit Lodge Timaru, No. 196, to-night. All South Canterbury lodges will be represented at the Masonic temple.
