A mystery tramping excursion in the Kowai Bush district has been arranged by the Railways Department for Sunday, June 19, the train leaving Christchurch at 9 a.m. The route selected is over tussock country and involves , little climbing, excellent views of the Waimakariri Gorge and the surrounding bush-covered hills ber ing obtained.
