MALVERN COUNTY COUNCIL

* —_ MU H. C. TOWNSHEND ELECTED CHAIRMAN Cr. H. C. Townshend was elected chairman for the year and Cr. L. T. Wright deputy-chairman, at the annual meeting of the Malvern County Council. At the monthly meeting it was resolved to begin planting, and pinus insignis trees were ordered for two plantations. The Main Highways estimates were approved. They included paving the Darfield-Glentunnel part of the Dar-field-Arundel main highway and decking the bridge over the Hawkins river at Hawkins.
