When D. W, T. Evans, a fisherman, of Graham’s Beach, was fishing in the Manukau harbour this morning he saw an object floating in the water, and when hp had retrieved it he found it was a sack enveloping a bucket, into which the body of a month-old Maori boy child had been jammed. . • It is understood that accompanying the body was a piece of paper with the date written on it, a circumstance which may help the police in their inquiries.
