TRAP SHOOTING
* CHAMPIONSHIP HELD AT SOCKBURN H. GRENNELL SCORES POSSIBLE The first of a series of three annual club championships was held by the Christchurch Gun Club at Sockbum on Saturday afternoon. Conditions of the championship match were 17 birds off 26 yards, and 14 shooters competed. H. Grennell won outright with the possible. The winner received a trdphy order, valued three guineas, and will hold the George Rutherford Championship Cup for one year. The runner-up received a trophy order, valued one guinea. In an optional sweep held with the match, H. Grennell took first prize money, and the remainder was divided by P. Trtiscott, F. W. Brightling, R. S. Taylor. A. N. Turner, and P. Chamberlain.
