MR HULL DENIES RUMOURS
♦ “NO INTENTION OF RESIGNING ” REPORTED DISAGREEMENT WITH MR ROOSEVELT . (Received May 12, II p.m.) WASHINGTON, May 11. The Secretary of State (Mr Cordell Hull), taking cognisance of persisttent press reports alleging that his dissatisfaction with Mr Roosevelt’s statement on the British-lalian Pact is so great that he contemplates resigning, has issued a formal statement. Mr Hull brands the reports as "absurd and fantastic.” He insists that he is heartily in accord with the President.
