Dunn, who has been prominent for his support of Mr Parry’s proposals, in his capacity as president of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association. Mr Dunn is a public accountant, and has been interested in various sporting activities, the principal of which is swimming. He was treasurer of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association from 1921 until his election as president last year. Mr C. F, Schadick, 0.8.E.. is the Westport County Engineer, He has played against international sides in tennis, football, and hockey. He played in the 1924 All Black Rugby Union trials, and has represented Nelson and Buller at football, hockey, cricket, tennis, golf, and swimming, winning provincial titles at tennis and golf. He is a life member of the West Coast Lawn Tennis Association, life member of the Westport Jockey Club president of the Buller Tennis Association, and captain of the Westport Golf Club.
Doctors Chosen Dr. T. H. Pettit, of Auckland, is a lisherman and gun sportsman. He is a life governor of the Royal Life-Sav-ing Society, with a seat on the London executive, and is medical adviser to a number of sporting organisations, as well as vice-president of various Auckland sports clubs. He is medical officer in charge o£ the Mount Albert Division of the St. John Ambulance, and senior medical officer of the Karitane Hospital. _ ... Dr C. E. Hercus is Dean of the Medical Faculty at the University of Otago. , , Mr L. J. Brake, a former Mayor and borough councillor of Whangarei, is president of the North Auckland Rugby Football Union, and has been interested in swimming and the St. John Ambulance movement. Mr R. T. Meredith is Crown Solicitor at Invercargill, and president of the New Zealand Rugby Football Union. He has held high executive positions in Rugby Union football, cricket, boxing, wrestling, and amateur athletics. Mr W. H. Moyes is headmaster of the New Plymouth Boys’ High School. As an athlete at Canterbury Univercity College he created a New Zealand University record for the quarter-mile. He represented New Zealand in the Now Zealand and Australian championshins. Mr A. C. Kitto, of Wellington, is one of the best known of Wellington sportsmen. He has been prominent in the administration of Rugby Union football and amateur athletics, and has been manager for numerous football and athletic tours. He was assistant manager of the New Zealand team at the British Empire Games in February of this year. He has been a member of the New Zealand Rugby Union for 17 years and is a member of the council and vice-president of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association, as well as a member of the council of the Olympic and Empire Games Association.
Mr M. H. Wilks is a public accountant of Taumarunui. Mrs R. S. Mclnnes. of Wellington, founded the New Zealand Girls’ Basketball Association and was its president for nine years. She is New Zealand Commissioner for Lone Guides and chairwoman of the committee for Girls’ Groups of the Young Women's Christian Association, of New Zealand. Miss Agnes Kennedy is a well-known member of the teaching profession in Auckland. She is secretary of the Auckland Institute for Educational Research and secretary of the New Education Fellowship in Auckland. She is chairwoman of the health and recreation committee of the Auckland Young Women’s Christian Association, and has taken an active part in various sports. Miss Kathleen McKenzie, of Napier, is a keen physical culturist, conducting her own classes. She is actively associated with the Young Women’s Christian Association and the Girl Guides’ Association.
