. Alfred Williamson, aged 43, a businessman, of Melbourne, pedalled from Melbourne to Sydney on a child’s tricycle for wagers amounting to £35. He was challenged to cover the distance in less than 21 days. He actually completed the trip ia. less than 10 days. When he arrived at Sydney to-day he was greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
