For the Oamaru trotting meeting on Saturday, May 7, the Railway. Department will run a passenger train leaving Christchurch at 7.7 a.m. and arriving at Oamaru in time for the races. The return passenger train will leave Oamaru at 6 p.m. Cheap excursion lares will be available.
