BRISBANE. April 29

The coastal motor-ship Bingera, of 919 tons, is stranded on the Great Barrier Reef. She has a heavy list to port, and her forward deck is awash.

The position is regarded as serious.

Ten passengers have been landed safely and the cargo is being unloaded. _ . The Bingera trades between Brisbane and Maryborough, Mackay and Townsville.
