FAT PIGS The entry in the porker section was again a small one, and the requirements of butchers were hard to fill. The result was a buoyant sale from the outset, prices again showing an advance on the better rates rullhg last week. Baconera were forward In smaller numbers, but com* petition was scarcely so keen, prices showing a slight easing on recent rates. Values were:— . .. Light porkers, 38s 6d to 44s fid. Medium porkers, 46s fid to 82s fid. Heavy porkers, S3s fid to 88s fid. Average price per lb, fild to 7d, Light oaconers, 54s fid to £3 4s fid. Medium baconers, £3 5s fid to £8 9s fid, Extra heavy baconers, £3 10s fid to £4 10s fid. Average price per lb, fid to Old. STORE PIGS The entry of store pigs was of medium sire and all classes showed .an improvement on the rates of a week ago. Good quality weaners were again in better demand. Values were:— . Small weaners, fis to 10s. • Extra good weaners, 12s to 18s. SUps. 14s fid to 17s fid. Small stores. 18s to 245. Large stores, 2Bs to 38s, Somewhere there la Ameona who has something you need or needs something you have.
