CANTERBURY GUN DOG CLUB
J. R. M’KENZIE CUP TRIAL
The Canterbury Gun Dog Club’s trial for the J. R. McKenzie Cup, held during the week-end in the'Hawkins river-bed, 'was performed in perfect weather, and although game was not over-plentiful there was sufficient to provide a good trial for each dog. Mr G. L. Pomfret-Dodd was judge. Results were:—Mrs K. C. Cooper’s springer Sandhurst Solitaire 1, P. C. Crooke’s C.C. retriever Captain Rags 2, M. Petersen’s Labrador retriever Caesar of Colenso 3.
