This will be EUa Shields's third tour of New Zealand. This most remarkable woman appears to have the secret of eternal youth. During her recent tour of Australia Miss Shields was acclaimed as being better and more entertaining than ever. Her repertoire of new and old song hits, amazing vitality, and personality and gracious charm will never die, and her delightfully wholesome and refreshing •performances are welcomed by playgoers the world over. The comedian of the company is Mr Jim Gerald, who has been a popular favourite with playgoers of New Zealand and Australia for many years. He is irresistibly humorous, and on the present occasion he is bringing with him the latest comedy sketches and songs from England and America, where he has been touring for the last two years. Another great feature of Frank Neil's show is the troupe of Gautier’s comedy dogs, who create roars of laughter by their many antics including their astounding scene as “The Bricklayers." Don Galvin, the Mexican troubadour, is another great personality. He has a rich singing voice and he plays the Spanish guitar and banjo like a great master. Arne Hartman is still another clever performer. He was aptly described as “the wizard of the pianoaccordion," apd nightly his turn arouse, r immense enthusiasm, Petillo and Pesco are two screamingly humorous clowns and Janetski is a wonderful player of the xylophone. U. S, Thompson is a brilliant and spectacular dancer. And many other outstanding features including the famous Tivoli ballet and chorus are on the programme.
Those who enioyed Frank Neil’s “Red, White, and Blue” Revue Comoany last year ma t be assured that his “Wonder Show of World’s Stars” is even more stupendous and possesses a greater galaxy of talent. The box plans are now open at the D.I.C.
