BODY FOUND IN HARBOUR

WELLINGTON SOLICITOR’S DEATH WELLINGTON, April 5. The body of F. E. McDonald, of 2 Raupo street, Hataitai, Wellington, a solicitor, was found floating in Evans Bay about 1.40 p.m. The body was discovered by a bather in shallow water, near the yacht club pavilion, and was later identified as being the body of McDonald. McDonald had been missing from his home since 7 o’clock on Friday night. About 9 p.m. he telephoned a friend and told him that he was catching the Limited express to connect with the Matai, which left Auckland - at 4 p.m. on Monday. He was 60 years of age.
