DR. MALCOLM SARGENT COMING IN 1940 _

(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.)

WELLINGTON, April 1.

The Royal Choral Union, Wellington, and the Choral Society of Auckland, have by cablegram definitely arranged with Dr. Malcolm Sargent, eminent EMjiSh conductor, tO conduct 12 concerts in New Zealand centres in 1940. The concerts will be given during the months of July and August.

Dr, Sargent is under engagement to visit Australia during the approaching winter, but will not undertake any concerts in New Zealand this year. In 1940 he will not conduct any concerts in Australia.
