We Have Fun

We have great fun in the harvest time. I often have to take out the luhches to the men.

In the holidays when we were reaping the corn Beryl and I used

to go down to the paddock and try to make stocks. Sometimes they stood up straight, but often they would tumble over. We used to try to race the men who were stocking, and sometimes we would try to see how many stocks we could have done by the time the binder came round. —LINDA BARR, ' Springston. Who found New Zealand? It was never lost. —nancy mckenzie.
