FISHING MISHAP FEARED

AUCKLAND, April 1. A search is being made ior Wallace Edward Farley, aged 23, a son of Mr W. D. Farley, of Whatipu, who _hds been missing from his home since Thursday evening. Farley was last seen by members of his family shortly before they retired on Thursday evening. About 6.45 a.m. to-day it was discovered that his bed had not been slept in and a search was made of the farm and the adjacent district.

' A fishing bag and a line belonging to the missing man were found on the Whatipu wharf. The line had been set and pulled in, but the hooks and sinkers had fouled the wharf steps.
