HARVEST THANKSGIVING AT GREENDALE
The harvest thanksgiving services of the Greendale Baptist Church were held on Sunday. The preacher was the Rev. N. G. Garlick. Special hymns and sacred solos were sung by the choir. The church was decorated with flowers, sheaves of grain, fruit, and vegetables. On Monday eveping the harvest festival was co'ntinued by a public gathering in the church. Mr Garlick presided. He welcomed the members of the Linwood Baptist Choir, and thanked them for coming out to Greendale to supply the programme for the evening. Items were given by the choir, and members.
