Death of Elderly ■V Man SON REMANDED TO MARCH 28 Charged with the murder of his father, John Kay, an elderly man, of 14 Willard street, Spreydon, on Sunday evening, Boland Leslie Kay, aged 46, an engraver, was remanded by Mr E. C. Levvey, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday morning to March 28. Detective-Sergeant T. E. Holmes said that Boland Kay was arrested at -3.30 yesterday morning. John Kay was found lying in a pool of blood outside the back door of his home soon after 10.1/5 on Sunday evening. The police recovered a discharged shot-gun from the section. John Kay, who was a retired sailmaker, was living with his wife and Boland Kay.
