CAR ABANDONED
TRAGEDY AT GISBORNE BEACH FEARED (TSESS ASSOCIATION TXLBGSAU.) GISBORNE, March 18. A car that had been noticed abandoned on the beach since early yesterday morning, contains a man’s clothes and papers bearing the name of J. Mellor, apparently a representative of a mineral supply company at Palmerston North. A tragedy is feared.
