GERMANY'S AIM FOR COLONIES
British Talks With Herr Hitler EXAMINATION OF CLAIMS Chancellor's Anger At Foreign Press (tnrlTID paESP ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT.> (Received March 4, 9.30 p.m.) LONDON, March 4. Colonies are included in the list t,f outstanding questions Britain dejires to discuss with Germany but the British Ambassador to Berlin, Sir Nevile Henderson, has been instructed to tell Herr Hitler that Germany's claim is being investigated, and that it is likely that this will take some time, says the "Daily Mail." Accordingly, a definite plan for negotiations on this subject is not yet possible. Sir Nevile was received to-day by the German Chancellor for a general conversation on subjects of interest to both countries. It is understood that one of the main subjects of his discussion with Herr Hitler was a grievance which the Chancellor expressed against the British press in his Reichstag speech, says the Berlin correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph." Before promising the resumption of English and German conversations where Lord Halifax left off Herr Hitler asked assurances that the conversations should not be subject to advance press comment and speculation which could distort and misrepresent their purpose renderfag them useless.
