BUILDING THE GIANT LINER QUEEN ELIZABETH.—The Queen Mary's sister ship, which is being built at Clydebank, Scotland, photographed on February 12. The new liner will be equipped with two funnels and will have a gross tonnage of 84,000, compared with the 81,235 tons of the Queen Mary. While under construction the Queen Elizabeth ts insured for £4,500,000. She will be launched on September 27.
Sir Robert Vansittart, the chairman of the committee to co-ordinate all aspects of British national publicity abroad.
