S?r.—Would Mr McPherson kindly explain why a circular letter was sent to millers and brokers stating that the price of Cross 7 wheat would probably be fixed at a meeting of the Wheat Committee on February 2, 1938? Therefore, how was the grower to know the price would be reduced to the Tuscan variety before that meeting was held?

Mr Geo. Warren was quite justified in saying that the grower of Cross 7 had been let down. Anyhow what else could one exoect?—Yours, etc., WHEATGROWER. February 25, 1938.
