NEW BRIGHTON CLUB SATISFACTORY OPENING YEAR “ThC first year of the club has been a very satisfactory One, and it is specially gratifying to be able to start the new year with a credit balance of £l6 Ms 4id,“ said Mrs A. E. Marriott, at the first annual meeting of the North Beach Old Girls’ Basketball Club, held in the North Brighton School. Mr* Marriott presided. The members decided to hold, a picnic at V/aikuhu on March 12. The election of officers resulted- — President, Mis A; E. Marriott; secretary, Miss Marion Parker: treasurer, Miss Joan Wilson; committee. Misses Oliva Sands, Phyllis Norrio, Nancy Marriott, Eunice Gray.
