MEETING AT ENGLISH PARK The Canterbury Amateur Cycling Centre held an evening meeting at English Park last night. Results were:— Quarter-mile Open Handicap—G. L. Thomson (scr) 1, N. Harris (40yds) 2, E. A. McCaskill (30yds) 3. Time, 32sec. Won by half a length. Half-mile Junior Handicap—L. Green (60yds) 1, P. F. Hairwood (30yds) 2, L. Blick (65yds) 3. Time, 63 4-ssec. Won by half a length. Five-mile Points Handicap Race—T. Bindley (13 points) 1. Time, llmin 38 2-ssec.
