WELLINGTON, February 25.

Mr J. H. Luxford, S.M., in a reserved judgment in the cash docket receipt cases, in which he was asked to decide whether they were liable for duty, said that the words, "Executed in New Zealand," might have far-reach-ing consequences, and would no doubt be considered in appeal proceedings, should that be so, further questions could be dealt with by the Supreme Cour t. , . , „., . , He therefore dismissed all the informations on the ground that the documents, if they were receipts, were unsigned and so not liable to duty.
