MOTOR SERVICE TO BLENHEIM
♦ RAILWAY DEPARTMENT TAKES CONTROL The Railway Department has this week taken over the motor . service from Parnassus to Blenheim, which has been run by Curran’s Motors lor more than 25 years. 1116 department has installed three 12-seater and two 10-seater cars for the service from Parnassus to Kaikoura and thence to Blenheim. The Kaikoura-Waiau service has also come under the control of the Railway Department, .and the service will be extended to the Waiau railway station. There is every possibility of the department running an observation tourist service.
