JURY FAILS TO AGREE IN DAMAGES CLAIM (FBESB ASSOCIATION TET.EOEAU.) WELLINGTON, February 4. No agreement was reached by the jury in the Supreme Court in the case in which James Alexander Robertson Menzies, and his father, Duncan Robertson Menzies, a public accountant, claimed £1620 special and general damages from Charles Edward Wheeler, a journalist. On the application of Mr E. D. Blundell for the plaintiffs, the Chief Justice (the Rt. Hon. Sir Michael Myers) granted an order for a new trial, the date to be fixed later.
