ANTI-SEMITISM IN BULGARIA
JEWS WARNED TO LEAVE COUNTRY (Received February 3, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, February 2. The representative of the "Daily Telegraph" at Sofia says that, inspired by Rumania's example, antiSemitism is taking on a serious aspect throughout Bulgaria. All the windows in the Sofia Synagogue have been smashed and more than 150 prominent Jews have received anonymous letters warnr " them to leave the country withn/a fortnight if they wish to live The police raided the house of the leader of the Bulgarian Nazis, Professor. Kantasi, but no statement was issued.
